  • Is there a place to take pictures on site?

    Our most popular on-site picture spot is The Courtyard, which looks great in every season. Our brides, grooms, and event planners also take amazing pictures in the bridal suite, in the corridor next to the restaurant (great natural lighting), in the hotel lobby, and even by the pool during the summer months.

    Plus, we’re happy to recommend favorite picturesque locales, such as Princeton University, Sayen Gardens in Hamilton, NJ (also popular for outdoor wedding ceremonies), Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ, and downtown Hightstown.

    How many guest rooms can we block?

    For your wedding or special event at the Windsor Ballroom, we’ll help you book up to 20 guest rooms at our award-winning on-site Holiday Inn East Windsor. Need more? Have no fear! We’ll help you book additional rooms, based on availability.

    Your out-of-town guests will get a special rate. We’ll also provide complimentary “save the date” direction cards, and we’re happy to distribute your welcome bags to your guests at check-in. Keep in mind that your guests need to make their room block reservations at least 30 days prior to your event.

    Can I use an outside caterer?

    Absolutely.  We work closely with several local caterers to provide a flawless service and wonderful experience for you and your guests. While each and every event differs, we will tailor outside rental rates to parallel the requirements of your affair.

    What exactly does a Maitre d' do?

    The Maitre d’ is your point person during your event.  They are with you from start to finish and ensure your expectations are constantly exceeded.  He or she coordinates with the vendors on all aspects of your event to include timing of services, dances, announcements and such.  He or she anticipates your needs before you know you need something so you can have a stress-free day!

    Do you have outdoor ceremonies at your location?

    Yes! The Courtyard is available for outdoor ceremonies and outdoor cocktail hour! We can also host indoor ceremonies in the Windsor Ballroom. Check out our photos page to see some beautiful ceremonies from previous weddings.

    Is an officiant included when I book my wedding ceremony?

    An officiant is not included with your wedding ceremony at the Windsor Ballroom, but we can recommend some great ministers, rabbis, and other ceremony officiants and help you make arrangements. Our team is here to help with anything and everything you need!
